My Melbourne Royal Show Experience (2024)
We had a great time at the Melbourne Royal Show, with plenty of parking available for $30, which eased our initial concerns. The food options were varied and abundant, offering something for everyone.
However, the rides were quite expensive, ranging from $8 for kids to $15 for adults. We did enjoy the bump car ride, though at $12 per person, it added up quickly. For families, I highly recommend purchasing a ride pass online to save some money.
The ferris wheel offered a pleasant experience, and the bike show was the highlight of the day, with thrilling performances by bicycles and motorbikes flying through the air.
As the evening progressed, the atmosphere shifted into a party vibe with music filling the venue, and we even spotted some people dancing in the food court. It felt safe with mostly families around.
We spent about 7.5 hours at the show and overall had a fantastic day, despite the high cost of the rides. If you’re planning to go, be prepared for some expenses, but the fun and entertainment make it worthwhile!
